DailyVibe ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

DailyVibe collects the following information:

- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. Email verification is required to activate your account and ensure account security.

- Habit Data: We store your habit names, completion records, streaks, and statistics to provide the core functionality of the app.

- App Preferences: We store your theme preferences (light/dark mode) locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

- Provide and maintain the app's core habit tracking features

- Enable synchronization of your habits across multiple devices

- Authenticate your account and secure your data

- Improve the app's functionality and user experience

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes.

Data Storage and Synchronization

DailyVibe uses Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) to securely store and synchronize your data:

- Your habit data is stored in Firebase Firestore, encrypted in transit and at rest

- Your account authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication

- Data syncs automatically across all devices where you are signed in

- Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to you through your authenticated account

Third-Party Services

DailyVibe uses the following third-party services:

- Firebase (Google): For authentication, data storage, and synchronization. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Security

We take data security seriously.

- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS

- All data stored in Firebase is encrypted at rest

- Authentication is handled securely through Firebase Authentication

- Email verification is required to activate accounts and prevent unauthorized access

- Password reset functionality is available if you forget your password

- You can sign out at any time to prevent access to your account

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Control

You have full control over your data:

- Access: You can view all your habit data within the app

- Delete Habits: You can delete individual habits at any time

- Sign Out: You can sign out at any time using the Settings tab

- Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all data directly in the app (Settings tab → Delete Account). This action cannot be undone.

All account deletion requests are processed immediately and permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you sign out or delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers. Some data may remain in backups for a limited time as part of standard backup procedures.

Children's Privacy

DailyVibe is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
